The doom wad or the prboom wad? It's also unclear which core I need to select. The next part is understanding how to launch the game. Does it work in tandem with DOSBox, or is it it's own thing? The first part of my confusion is understanding what prboom is and what it does. The only instructions I've found are "put prboom.wad in the same folder as doom1.wad". I'm having a hard time understanding how to play Doom with prboom.
